Open Position: Outside Sales

Sanitary Solutions Group, LLC. is the stocking source for distributors who service the bakery, beverage, cosmetic, dairy, pharmaceutical, and food process industries. The Sanitary Solutions group is a service-oriented organization that supplies distributors and system integrators with sanitary stainless-steel tube, fittings, valves, and other accessories. Headquartered out of Columbia, SC with an additional, fully stocked warehouse in Dallas, Texas, our aggressive and motivated team is rapidly expanding into other geographical areas.

As we grow, we are actively looking to expand our winning team by adding an Outside Sales Representative in the Northeast region of the country. This person will be responsible for maintaining our existing relationships and sales in this region while simultaneously building and developing new business and expanding our customer base.

This position will be responsible for:
  • Growing and maintaining customer relationships within assigned territory
  • Creating and delivering presentations to distributors and end-users
  • Visiting distributors and end-users and promoting target products
  • Planning sales activities on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
    Collaborating with Inside Sales and other team members to ensure Customer Service
  • Documenting activities in NetSuite
  • 8 to 12 nights per month travel
  • Regular reporting to supervisor
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or higher preferred
  • Industrial Pipe, Valve, and Fitting Experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of industrial outside sales experience

Open Position: Accounting Manager

Sanitary Solutions Group, LLC. Is a PE-backed, multi-location distributor of stainless-steel tube and fittings for the food and beverage industries. Headquartered out of Columbia, SC, with an additional, fully stocked warehouse in Dallas, Texas, our aggressive and motivated team is rapidly growing. We are strategically in-sourcing our accounting function and are seeking to build a first-class highly automated accounting environment. As a result, we are actively looking to add an accounting professional to help take our team to the next level.

We are a progressive, forward-thinking finance team that favors data analysis and automation to achieve efficiency and strong financial controls. The Accounting Manager position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will include implementing company finance policy as well as aspects of A/P, A/R, and Treasury that require planning and automation skills and a broad knowledge of accounting processes in all cycles.

This is a remote position.

This position will be responsible for:
  • Managing, training, and supervising team members in processing payroll, and internal controls related to Financial Reporting, Labor Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting and Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Tax Compliance.
  • Preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Financials will be automated through our ERP system, but the Accounting Manager (in conjunction with the CFO) will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation.
  • Preparing monthly account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts (recons are already created but are open for continuous improvement).
  • Ensuring payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner. We are implementing a new payroll service, and in conjunction with a timekeeping system yet to be implemented, the Accounting Manager will assist in creating an efficient and low touch payroll process.
  • Ensuring that Accounts Payable are reviewed, approved, properly accounted for, and paid in a timely manner. We use Bill.com for automation and are looking to further improve our A/P process toward a touch-free goal.
  • Managing the company billing process including improving the process wherever possible and assisting the CFO with introducing automation at scale.
  • Supporting the CFO in managing banking operations and internal controls over treasury operations and approving wire transfers.
  • Working with the CFO to identify and implement accounting systems continuous improvement plans.
  • Working with the CFO and outside CPA to file accurate and timely tax returns.
  • Preparing and filing timely sales and use tax returns and 1099 tax reporting.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate files in support of our annual audit, which will be managed by the CFO but the Accounting Manager will assist
  • Providing ad hoc financial reports or related support as needed.
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • CPA or working toward CPA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5 or more years of experience as an Accounting Manager for a company that sells products and services for a profit
  • NetSuite ERP exposure is required for this position, 2 years of experience with NetSuite ERP is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills typical for an analytically focused Accounting Manager role are required for this position
  • Candidate should expect to be working hands on A/P, A/R, and Treasury as we work for the next year to achieve automation goals
  • Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
  • U.S. citizenship
